Fixed fees apply to most of our services and you can be confident that there will be no unexpected costs.

WILLS AND ESTATE PLANNING COSTS

Simple Will

  • One hour meeting either in person or by a suitable video-conferencing platform

  • Drafting of will documents

  • $550

  • simple corresponding wills for partners $950

MORE COMPLICATED WILL

This would involve issues such as avoiding a potential challenge to the will, catering for a blended family or providing for a disabled child in the future.

  • Initial one hour meeting plus other meetings as necessary in person or by a suitable video-conferencing platform

  • Drafting of will documents and any other related paperwork

  • Approximately $900

ENDURING POWER OF ATTORNEY

  • $250

  • corresponding powers of attorney for partners $400

ENDURING GUARDIANSHIP

  • $250

  • corresponding enduring guardianships for partners $400

ADVANCE CARE DIRECTIVE

As this document involves largely personal decisions it requires less legal guidance. Lynn is happy to discuss it briefly in conjunction with dealing with the other planning documents. It is nonetheless important to ensure it is completed and updated every few years so it can provide guidance to the family and medical practitioners when health decisions have to be made. The Advance Care Directive can be completed online and then uploaded to your My Health Record.

RETIREMENT VILLAGE ADVICE

  • First consultation $300

  • $350 per hour if matter continues

  • Most advice is contained within the $1000 boundary
