Lynn Flanagan’s focus is on understanding just what her client’s legal needs are and then providing a solution which the client understands and is committed to. Lynn devotes much of her time to giving public talks to seniors so they have some understanding of various aspects of Elder law which may affect them in later life.

Wills and Estate Planning

  • Simple and complex wills for all types of situations including blended families

  • Enduring Powers of Attorney and Guardianship; Advance Care Directives

  • Approaching the NCAT Tribunal when problems occur with Powers of Attorney (such as an attorney misusing their powers) or Guardianships.

Elder Law

  • Assisting clients to understand their Retirement Village and Lifestyle Village contracts. Lynn summarises very complex contracts into a concise few pages so that clients understand what they are getting into

  • Providing advice about the pros and cons of Granny Flats and how a client might protect him/herself.

  • Providing advice re claims on a partner’s Superannuation

There are several ways in which you can contact Lynn Flanagan regarding your legal issue:

Lynn will return contact on the same day, usually between 4-5pm.

After the initial contact Lynn can meet you:

  • at her Merewether office;

  • at your home;

  • or via video-conferencing such as zoom.

    This can be decided during the initial contact. Lynn is fairly flexible and so can arrange appointment times suitable to the client such as after-hours if necessary.
